I have been living here in Tracy Ca. for almost twenty years, I have been going to this Best Buy since it opened. In the beginning, it was like most of the other Best Buys, maybe a little below par compared to the other larger city stores. However, I have seen a remarkable change in the Tracy Best Buy.

Bestbuy is really hit or miss with the associates. Either they know nothing and have no business being in the department or are really spot on. I typically avoid it whenever possible. But tonight I was helped at various stages by 3 very helpful young guys. I got all my questions answered and more about the tv's I was looking at. When it inevitability did not fit in my car, I had to remove it from its box to fit it. And they went and got me a ton of bubble wrap to ensure it made it home safely. One thing no one mentioned it just how much smaller they look in the store! It was way larger than I needed and will need to be mounted.
Some of the workers here are very very excellent with customer service, they will work around anything to best meet your needs! I called customer service to have them pick up a box they delivered broken and they said i had to bring it in even tho it was DELIVERED and im partially disabled she said i still have to find a way to bring it to the store .. next day went to best buy and they re arranged everurhing for me, i even got my t.v. and stand earlier then i was suppose to, with free installation for the tv stand for the inconvenience, free installation came with the tv i putchased.. they're are workers there that do alot more for you and then some just to keep you happy.. most stores won't.. From the sales staff to the customer support, cashiers and Geek Squad improvements all around. Improvements also in the available items for sale, they always seem to have the most and often least popular items.
This Best Buy has the feeling of a big town store with a small town customer friendly feel, and I love it.
As long as you're always polite courteous and willing to help you are good customer service person. The Only issue I had was the knowledge of the person. He didn't know what the contents of the item was and i would have bought the wrong item. Fortunately he opened the box before I bought anything.
So I love the store and how attentive the staff is toward their customers. My biggest problems is when calling to speak to someone at the store about a problem I have or to even speak to someone about a product the number I call sends me to the sorry ass call center. The people at the call center are rude and sound irritated every time I’ve spoke with them. They don’t really know what’s in stock honestly. I called one day for a product and they said their were none in the store. I happen to go to Best Buy and asked the guy if they had it and he told me that they in fact had it.
