I called the hertz location back and they told me they could reclean it but they don't know how long it would take. We had to get on with our day so we couldn't take it back so we cleaned it out our selfs and once we were doing so we found trash, the bumper was coming off, there is bird poop everywhere! I will never rent from this company again!
Today we were scheduled to pick up our rental at 10am and we were done with paperwork at 9:50.We have a long drive home 13 hours!
We set up a reservation online and nowhere did it say it was only reserving a price and not a car. We got a confirmation email saying our car was ready for us at 10:30, yet, at noon we still did not have a car. After calling around and speaking with everyone there we find out that you have to call in and confirm a car is available when you place the reservation, which again is not shown or stated anywhere on the site or in the office. Very misleading. They ended up upgrading us to a luxury car for no additional charge which was very nice of them but we we're still late and missed out on part of our vacation and had to go through unnecessary stress.
They rented me a car, which I kept for two months while my car was repaired. They only requested that I call in once a week to update my rental timeframe. Super easy and super friendly staff. Three star rating because I had to spend my own money on a pair of windshield wipers and they do not give back cash refunds. Overall pleasant expirence.
So we wanted to be on schedule especially with 2 young kids! We didn't get our car until 11 because they said "it was getting cleaned"! As soon as we got in, the car was so dirty and I told my husband it smells like cat *** in here. After my husband looked around the car we found marijuana in our vehicle.
Danielle was an awesome representative. Very professional at the desk and on the phone, considering the office got a little busy when we arrived
