The sheets where clearly dirty when I got here the first day. Covered in dirt and hair.
After a very long drive we decided to stop at this motel. We were greeted by Lupe(not sure if that's the correct spelling), she was funny & kind. Her spirit was cheerful and even after hours of driving rubbed of onto us.
I enjoyed my rather short stay at Tracy. Though the bed was lumpy and I killed a couple of tiny critters, the staff was more than accommodating to my needs. In fact, I was rinsing my stinky muddy dogs outside in the parking lot via baling out of my own bucket and running/back/forth to the faucet, I was offered a few rags by one of the housekeepers. My room was rather warm because I think the air conditioner isn't at full capacity, so I experienced a little discomfort, but thankfully the weather was pleasant, but a little on the warm side.
Your staff was awesome. They were friendly and efficient. If it were not for the filthy conditions of the beds and bedding, I would not be complaining. The room appeared clean at first glance and the office staff even called to see if everything was acceptable. I said yes before paying much attention to the beds. At night there were creepy crawlers in the bathroom floor. I HATE BUGS!!!!!
First, the motel 6 in Tracy and the staff was excellent . That said, when I made the reservation, I went to the Motel 6 site and found what was listed as the website for the Motel 6 in Tracy, California. Using my cell phone I hit the call point on the website. I never entered the phone number. I was connected to the staff and I made my reservation only to learn after driving for 3 hours in the heat that the reservation was made at Westley, Ca. Thankfully, I was able to contact the Motel 6 Headquarters and get the Westley reservation deleted. I have stayed at Motel 6 across the US and will continue to to stay at them.
The room was not the Hilton, but it was very clean, quite, and the air conditioning worked. Also, in the morning, I put my feet in their pool as I drank hot coffee from the office. Highly recommend this motel, especially for the price.
The heater was shut off in the room. Spent 3 days and nights shivering until I asked the office if it was an AC only or not. They sent the repair technician to the room who went into the ceiling and turned a valve causing water to floor the ceiling and come pouring down on my suit cases. He did get the heat turned on, was glad for that.
